Overview
RPSF is a sustainable fibre made by converting PET flakes into textile-grade polyester fibre. It is one of the most widely used recycled materials, replacing virgin polyester and contributing to a circular economy in textiles.
Manufacturing Process
• Flake Processing: High-quality PET flakes are melted and extruded.
• Spinning & Drawing: The extruded polymer is spun into fibres, stretched for strength, and cut into staple lengths.
• Finishing: Fibres are crimped, dried, and pressed into bales for commercial use.
Key Technical Specifications (Indicative ranges – customizable)
• Denier Range: 1.2D – 15D
• Cut Lengths: 32mm, 38mm, 44mm, or as per client specification
• Tenacity: 4.5 – 6.0 g/denier
• Moisture Content: < 0.4%
• Colors Available: White, semi-dull, black, dope-dyed colors
